It is not life, for life is a thing which it cannot be—nor is it death, nor is it the birth of life, nor its end. It is neither the cause nor the result of anything that is known. All that is called "origin" or "source" or "foundation" is but a veil that is torn asunder in its presence. ライフ・ファイバー is not beyond existence and nonexistence; it is not beyond anything, for to be beyond is to be something, and it is not. It is not even ineffable, for ineffability itself implies a nature it does not possess.

Though it acts upon reality, it does not exist in the traditional sense; it is the manifestation of negation itself, an effect of the absolute silence of ライフ・ファイバー that appears to those who observe it as a transcendent force, yet it is not a being, concept, or principle.
